2019年11月26日,里加文化中学孔子课堂汉语教师志愿者陈莹在初级兴趣班开展了中国剪纸文化活动。剪纸是中国的一项传统艺术,学生们在上课之前就对中国剪纸有所耳闻,并表达了对剪纸文化课的期待。
文化课上,汉语教师先重点介绍了中国剪纸艺术从古至今的发展以及剪纸元素在人们现代生活中的应用,接着介绍了剪纸艺术的各种形式和制作方法,之后教授学生们剪出了经典的“囍”字剪纸和四折花形剪纸。学生们都惊叹于剪纸艺术的巧妙。在课上,学生们不仅剪出了老师教授的图案,还充分发挥了想象力和创造力,自己对图案进行创作,制作出了精美的剪纸作品。学生完成作品后,汉语教师把学生的作品贴在了教室墙上,充满红色剪纸的教室显得喜气洋洋。师生在愉快的氛围中结束了剪纸艺术文化课。
本次初级兴趣班有将近30个人,是里加文化中学孔子课堂兴趣班人数最多的一次,学生的构成也比较多样。有高中生和朋友一起来学习汉语的,有爸爸带着孩子一起来学习的,也有妈妈带着孩子一起学习的,还有会说汉语但不会写汉字的中国孩子来学习,使得整个汉语课堂变得多元化。此次文化活动不仅让学生们进一步了解了中国的剪纸艺术,一起制作剪纸的过程也使老师和学生的距离更近了。通过这次剪纸文化课,学生们表示很喜欢中国文化并且愿意去了解更多的中国文化。
On November 26, 2019, Chen Ying, the volunteer Chinese teacher of the Confucius Classroom at Riga Cultural Secondary School, conducted a Chinese paper-cutting cultural activity in the primary interest-class. Paper-cutting is a traditional art in China, the students have heard about it before this class, and they expressed their expectations for paper-cutting culture lessons.
In this lesson, the Chinese teacher first introduced the development of Chinese paper-cutting art and the application of paper-cutting elements in people's modern life. Then, she introduced the various forms and manufacture methods of paper-cutting art.And then, she taught the students to make the typical Chinese character "囍" and four-fold flower-shaped paper cutting by themselves. The students marveled at the ingenuity of the art of paper cutting. In the class, the students not only cut out the patterns what the teacher taught them, but also gave full play to their imagination and creativity. They created the patterns themselves and made exquisite paper-cutting works. After the students finished their work, the Chinese teacher posted their work on the classroom wall, and the classroom filled with red paper-cuttings looked cheerful. Teachers and students ended the paper-cutting art culture lesson in a pleasant atmosphere.
There are nearly 30 students in the primary interest-class, which is the largest number of Confucius Class Interest-Classes in Riga Culture Secondary School. The composition of students is also diverse. There are high school students studying Chinese with friends, fathers studying with their children, mothers studying with their children, and Chinese children who can speak Chinese but cannot write Chinese characters studying here, making the entire Chinese class becomes diverse. This cultural event not only help students to learn more about the art of paper- cutting, but the process of making paper-cutting together also brought the teacher and students closer. Through this paper-cutting culture lesson, students expressed that they like Chinese culture and are willing to learn more about Chinese culture.
